MIght of Pen

My passion to write more and more after few years hiatus really uncontrolled. I wrote almost 3 articles per day these three days, my laptop running all over the day. Still, I got some ideas flashed in my mind that I have to note quickly in my sketch book before it just disappeared. These raw ideas will be my material to write articles in times of bad mood, lack of interest.

I woke up at 11 a.m. today after writing on articles till 2 a.m. the night before. After having breakfast (or should I called it lunch ?) I summarize some articles again, and having dinner at 7 p.m. Reading today's newspaper, listening to the closing statements from second President Candidates Debate, taking shower, and here I am writing my hectic activity in this blog. The President Candidates Debate should've been changed to President Candidates Campaign, since there's no real fighting among those three candidates. They all want to play safe, and they don't even describe their point of view for hot topics in this nation. They answer every topic from the moderator in a general way, no descriptive step at all.

Anw, I have to preserve my positive energy to study those four last Internal Medicine exam in a row next week (GastroEnterology, Cardiovascular, Emergency Medicine) instead of commenting this never ending complaining story of Indonesia. All of this stresfull materials started with Ophthalmology test on Monday. Wish me luck =)

Return of the Condor Heroes

It's been a long time since last time I post something in this blog. I don't even remember my first username and password I created with Cindy (she's on 2 years clinical rotation now). Thanks God, I can use the Open ID provided by google Accounts now. Well, for your update. I've been on my final year in medical faculty now, waiting for my graduation day on October (equal to those MBBS in Australia and NZ), few weeks ahead I'll get my first clinical rotation. Ehm, I wonder would it be Internal Medicine... It would be a great start for me, but Que Sera Sera...
This two weeks is my final exam in the last semester, 10 out of 8. Wait, are you crazy? You can't even count on basic maths adn you want to be an MD? Lol... Yeah, my Bachelor of Medicine should've been finished last year (8th semester), but I got some obstacles. I'll tell you more about this next time I got the mood. And the bad news (great news for those who want to enter med school in Indonesia) is, I'm threatened by the >2006 batch that used new 5 year system. A block system that resemble those old block system used by us decades ago, before we use SKS system (semester credit system). Nowadays, to prepare us from globalisation era, the government decide to use the same system like most of medical school in the world. The system will stress on Evidence Based Medicine, and the active larning process has to be made by students itself. Lecturers only give them the bait, the fish (read: studs) has to try hard to catch it although it could've been not interesting at all. Yeah, the lecturers has to make it as interesting as possible, trying to vanish those lecture-fed learning habit that has been inherited for decades.

Anw, it's been a hectic weeks these month. I'm working on two blogs at a glance ( http://ProcrastinationGods.wordpress.com and this one). I just made those WP account this month, and luckily when I almost push the 'delete' button for this account I knew that WP can't make any money (read: Google AdSense) for me. That's why I decided to share my teen role using this blog, and to share my doctor will be role's point of view using that WP blog. Hey, I know what you're thinking and I'm not having Multiple Personality Disorder.
